Garlic for Arthritis

Garlic is a superfood packed with numerous health benefits.

Some studies revealed that garlic and its components have cancer-fighting properties. They also contain compounds that can lower the risk of heart disease and dementia.

Moreover, garlic is known to have an anti-inflammatory effect that can help decrease symptoms of arthritis. Few kinds of research found that garlic may enhance the function of certain immune system cells to help strengthen the overall immune system.

In one such study, the diets of 1,082 twins were analyzed and it was found that those who ate more garlic had a reduced risk of hip osteoarthritis. This is due to garlic’s strong anti-inflammatory properties.

Recipe:
Garlic in milk:
Ingredients:
– 10 minced garlic cloves
– 500 ml milk
– 2-3 teaspoons of sugar
– 250 ml water

Method of preparation:
-Pour the milk and garlic in a pot and add the minced garlic.
-Place it over medium heat & heat it until it boils.
– Stir occasionally, strain and in the end add the sugar.

Treats Arthritis:
The regular consumption of garlic milk will soothe arthritis pain & alleviate the inflammation.
